Dr. Alison Wilson presented The Importance of Mobility in the ICU at the 11th annual Southwest Trauma & Acute Care Symposium on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Dr. Wilson discusses the importance of ICU patients regaining or maintaining their mobility. ICU patient mobility should be a daily focus, have progressive plan, and a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Wilson is Professor and Chief of the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery & Surgical Critical Care,the Skewes Family Chair for Trauma Surgery, and the Director of West Virginia University Critical Care and Trauma Institute.
