Executive Committee Responsibilities
President:
- Will act as the principal executive officer of the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will preside at the meetings of the Arizona Trauma Association and preserve order, regulate debate, appoint committees not otherwise provided for, announce election results and perform all other duties pertaining to the office.
- Will serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
- Will serve a term of two years.
- Will be current with any dues or fees,
Vice President:
- In the absence of the President will serve as Chair to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
- Will serve a term of two years.
- Will be current with any dues or fees.
Secretary:
- Will have charge of the membership book of the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will keep minutes of the meetings.
- Will see that all meeting notices are duly given in accordance with statutes, the articles of incorporation and these Bylaws.
- Will be custodian of the Arizona Trauma Association’s records and seal.
- Will keep a record of the mailing address and contact information of each member of the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will maintain a current roster of all members.
- Will perform all duties customarily incident to the office of Secretary and such duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President, Executive Committee or the Board of Directors.
- In the absence of the Secretary, the Chair of any Committee or Sub-Committee shall keep the minutes of the meeting and forward a copy of the minutes to the Secretary within thirty days.
- Will serve a term of two years.
- Will be current with any dues or fees.
Treasurer:
- Will be the principal accounting and financial officer for the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will have charge or be responsible for:
- The maintenance of adequate books of account fort he Arizona Trauma Association;
- The charge and custody of all funds and securities of the Arizona Trauma Association and be responsible for the receipt and disbursement thereof;
- The deposit of all funds and securities of the Arizona Trauma Association in such banks, trust companies or other depositories as selected by the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee;
- In general perform all of the duties customarily incident to the office of the treasurer and such duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors; and
- Provide an annual report to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
- Will serve a term of two years.
- Will be current with any dues or fees.
Board of Directors
Board Members:
- Will be responsible for nominating and electing the Officers of the Executive Committee after the initial appointments.
- Will work together to maintain the mission, values and vision of the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will support the collaborative trauma and acute care research, education, and outreach activities of the trauma centers in the state of Arizona.
- Will prioritize and allocate the available resources required for maintaining the mission, values and vision of the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will establish Ad Hoc Committees as needed to assist in maintaining the mission, values and vision of the Arizona Trauma Association.
- Will, upon a majority vote, act to remove any Officer of the Executive Committee or representative to the Board of Directors who fails to perform the duties of their respective office or position or is found to be unfit for such office or position.
- Will serve a term of two years.
- Will be current with any dues and fees.
