Dr. Jason Sperry presented Prehospital Plasma in Trauma: Does Everyone Equally Benefit? at the 11th annual Southwest Trauma & Acute Care Symposium on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Dr. Sperry reviews the history of plasma use in trauma patients, the current guidelines for prehospital plasma use, and examines future uses. Dr. Sperry is a Professor of Surgery and Critical Care and the Director of the Acute Care Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
