Volunteer for Tackle Trauma 5K

Since 2006, the Arizona Trauma Association (ATA) has focused on improving health care delivery to those that have been traumatically injured in the Arizona. Through the collaborative efforts of physicians, nurses, pre-hospital, first responders, and other medical professionals, ATA has become a leader in trauma education, research, and outreach activities in the community. Traumatic injuries are the leading cause of death for all children and adults until age 46. With your help and support we can continue to improve the quality and accessibility of trauma care and provide valuable injury prevention and outreach activities throughout Arizona.

For 2020, we are seeking volunteers to help run this event! Volunteers may help in a number of different ways including:

• Greeting and checking in participants
• Helping direct traffic and parking
• Organizing sponsor booths
• Handing out water and snacks
• Cheering at the finish line
• Event clean-up

If requested, letters of volunteer hours will be available. Planning for the 2020 event is in full-swing and we thank you for considering volunteering at this wonderful event.
