Statewide Trauma Rounds brings clinicians, nurses, APPs, EMS, residents, and trauma team members together to learn from real cases happening across Arizona. Every session is an opportunity to share what worked, what didn’t, and what we’d do differently next time.
Now accepting case presentations. Have an interesting case, a challenging decision, or a complication that taught you something? Bring it to the statewide community.
A Message from the Statewide Trauma Rounds Committee
The Statewide Trauma Rounds program has been redesigned to create more opportunities for trauma professionals across Arizona to share their experiences, present compelling cases, and contribute to statewide learning.
We encourage all members of the trauma team—including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, EMS professionals, residents, fellows, and trauma program staff—to consider presenting a case. Every member of the trauma team brings a unique perspective, and some of the most valuable lessons come from interdisciplinary collaboration and shared experiences.
Whether your case highlights clinical decision-making, prehospital care, nursing interventions, system improvement, innovative management strategies, teamwork, communication, or important lessons learned, your experience can help advance trauma care throughout our state.
Presenting at Statewide Trauma Rounds offers several professional benefits:
• Sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues across Arizona
• Highlighting the critical contributions of nursing, EMS, and multidisciplinary trauma teams
• Contributing to trauma education and quality improvement initiatives
• Building your curriculum vitae and professional portfolio
• Developing presentation, leadership, and teaching skills
• Networking and collaborating with trauma professionals from diverse disciplines and trauma centers
• Supporting the continued growth and success of Arizona’s trauma system
Every case has a story to tell, and every member of the trauma team has something valuable to teach. We invite you to share your experience, contribute to the discussion, and help strengthen trauma care across Arizona.
Submit a case and join the statewide trauma community in advancing excellence in trauma care.
-Warm Regards
